Family Photographer in Gorey,

Looking for natural family photos in Gorey or anywhere in Wexford? I'm Liam, and I take relaxed portraits of couples, kids and extended families, either in my studio at Gorey Business Park or on location nearby. Sessions are unhurried and lightly directed, so everyone looks like themselves.
Whether it's the first photo of everyone together in years, a new arrival or the grandparents home for a visit, my aim is simple: photos you'll actually want on the wall.
What a family session is like
Before the day, we have a quick chat about who's coming, what you'd like and any ideas you have. On the day I keep things calm and easy. I'll tell you where to stand and how to pose, so nobody has to guess, and the rest of the time I'm looking for the real moments: the laughs, the cuddles, the kids being themselves. Little ones can take a break whenever they need one. There's no rush.
For clothes, solid colours and simple patterns work best. Pick two or three colours that go well together rather than matching exactly, and avoid big logos and busy prints. You're welcome to send me photos of outfits beforehand if you'd like a second opinion.
After the session, your seven edited images are delivered in a private online gallery.
Studio or location
In the studio: my studio is at Unit 9, Gorey Enterprise Centre, Gorey Business Park. It's on the ground floor with full wheelchair access and free parking, and it's only a minute from Gorey Main Street. Rain doesn't matter in here, which makes it a safe bet with small children.
On location: if you'd rather be outdoors, we can shoot somewhere nearby that suits you. If the weather turns, we can move into the studio, pick another date, or carry on outside if it's fine. Travel fees may apply depending on where you are.

I'm based in Gorey and photograph families in Gorey, Courtown, Ballymoney, Riverchapel, Kilmuckridge, Wexford and the surrounding areas. If you're further away, ask anyway, as I do travel for shoots.

How do I book?

Can we bring the dog?
Absolutely, as long as they're safe and manageable during the shoot. The same goes for any props you'd like to bring.
What if the kids won't sit still?
That's completely normal. I'm patient, I keep the posing light, and some of the best photos come from the in-between moments.
Do I get the unedited or RAW files?
No. I only supply professionally edited images, so every photo you get has been finished properly for colour and quality.
